January 31, 2010 Just a thought as I'm watching the Grammy Awards...I watched the country portion of the pre-telecast earlier where Taylor Swift had won two awards...they should have waited to announce these on television, because the tv audience missed out on her absolute shock of winning that first Grammy. That's not to say she was shocked to win her third a few minutes ago, but she truly was not as surprised as she was when she won that first one. Also, I am betting someone might have told her to say that this was her first Grammy, but in truth it was her third, so she added the part about it being her first televised Grammy. Good for her. Though I wish George Strait had won for album, it was a really great CD. Congrats to the Zac Brown Band for winning their first Grammy as well for Best New Artist--out of ALL the genres of music. ---------------------------------------- I'm having some technical difficulties with the CD releases page...going to delete it and start a whole new one. Also going to switch site builders, as this new WebOn is not all that it's cracked up to be. It's hard to put in text. So bear with me. Also, hopefully tomorrow or Tuesday there will be a brand new album spotlight...stay tuned to see what CD it will be. |
